Sky Sports understands Bristol City are poised to sign West Ham striker Sam Baldock.
The two clubs reportedly agreed a fee for the 23-year-old earlier this month and he is now in the process of finalising a move to Ashton Gate.
Several other clubs, including Charlton, were thought to be monitoring the frontman but it appears the Robins will win the race for his signature.
Baldock, who arrived at Upton Park from MK Dons last summer, scored five goals in his first nine games for the Hammers but fell out of manager Sam Allardyce's first-team plans in the second half of the season.
City boss Derek McInnes will hope the striker can provide a boost to his attack after his side were beaten 1-0 in Saturday's Championship opener against Nottingham Forest.
