Sky Sports understands top Everton prospect Conor McAleny is set to sign a new long-term deal with the Premier League club.
19-year-old McAleny has been with his hometown club since he was 11 and has long been seen as a player they had huge hopes for.
The striker made his senior debut for Everton last season before having a short stint on loan at Scunthorpe towards the end of the campaign.
McAleny's current deal expired this summer, and a number of clubs including Southampton and Derby had expressed an interest, but Everton are now set to tie him down to a new long-term contract.
