UAE international midfielder Omar Abdulrahman is to take in a trial with Premier League champions Manchester City after catching the eye at the 2012 Olympics.
The 20-year-old midfielder, currently on the books of Al Ain, impressed at the London Games, his best performance coming against Uruguay in UAE's opening match during which he provided the assists for both of their goals.
Abdulrahman is delighted to have been offered the opportunity to try and earn a deal at City.
"Today I'll travel to Manchester for a training ..wish me good luck," he posted on Twitter before adding that it is City he is to link up with.
Abdulrahman is rated as one of UAE's most promising young footballers.
