Burnley have invited Latvian duo Nauris Bulvitis and Marcis Oss for trials at Turf Moor, Sky Sports understands.
Bulvitis currently plies his trade with Jurmala in his homeland, while Oss is with fellow Latvian side FK Jelgava.
The duo are both central defenders and Clarets boss Eddie Howe has been alerted to their possible availability.
Howe is keen to bolster his defensive options and will cast an eye over 20-year-old Oss and 25-year-old Bulvitis in pre-season training before deciding whether or not to offer either player a deal
Bulvitis has previous experience of playing in the UK having enjoyed a loan spell with Inverness Caldonian Thistle during the 2009/10 season.
