Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade says he will soon make additions to his squad as he closes in on the capture of two key summer targets.
Slade has not named the unnamed pair although they have been identified as a striker and centre-back, with the deals set to be wrapped up over the next few days as the O's prepare to return for the start of pre-season training next week.
"We've had to be patient this summer but we're now very close to signing two important players for us," Slade told the club's official website. "The deals are a long way down the line and they will both be big assets for the club.
"I think a lot of clubs have had to have that kind of patience with the new financial rules because players have been hanging out for the kind of money they've been used to.
"But things are moving now as we're getting closer to pre-season and I'll be very happy with the two we're going to be bringing in."
