Pilgrims put faith in Paris

Paris Cowan-Hall has become Plymouth Argyle's first signing of the summer after having an impressive season at non-league side Woking.

The 21-year-old striker has rejected a new contract with non-League side Woking and opted to link up with the Pilgrims, who will have to pay a compensation fee due to his age. Cowan-Hall has already passed a medical and will officially join Argyle on July 1. The former Portsmouth forward was released by Scunthorpe last summer before spending just one season with Woking, scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances to help them clinch the Blue Square Bet South title. His arrival comes just a day after Carl Fletcher penned a new one-year rolling contract to remain as manager at Home Park.
