Agent - No Keita contact

Barca midfielder not looking to move on at the moment

The agent of Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita has sought to play down reports linking his client with the likes of Roma and Manchester United. It has been suggested that the midfielder will look for a route out of Camp Nou once the transfer window reopens, with first-team opportunities proving hard to come by. Barca's squad was already brimming with world-class talent before last summer, and they added Cesc Fabregas to their midfield ranks in a big-money move. Keita has been forced to fill a squad role as a result, restricting him to just 13 starts in the Primera Liga.

Meeting

A switch elsewhere has not been entirely ruled out by his representative, but he insists no contact has been made with any interested parties and that Keita is planning to speak with new Barca coach Tito Vilanova before taking any decision regarding his future. "After the Copa del Rey final against Atletico Bilbao I will have a meeting with the club to speak about the future," Pascal Boisseau told Esports Cope. "At the moment we have not been contacted by any clubs. We have not heard from Milan, Roma or Manchester United, despite what the papers have said. "Seydou wants to speak with the new coach and to know his plans. He will then be in a position to make a decision on his personal future."
