Boubacar Sanogo wants to return to the Bundesliga after his contract at St Etienne was cancelled by mutual consent. The former Kaiserslautern, Hamburg, Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim striker is currently back in Germany with his family. And the 29-year-old hopes to find a new contract as a free agent after leaving St Etienne, where he scored just one goal in 30 appearances from August 2009. Ex-Ivory Coast international Sanogo told Bild: "I have parted company with St Etienne. I am now looking for a new club. "My biggest wish for the new season would be to be able to resume my career in the Bundesliga. I had a good time playing in Germany."
