Bantams bring in Dagnall

Bradford City have secured the loan signing of Barnsley's Chris Dagnall until the end of the season.

Manager Phil Parkinson tried to sign Dagnall in January from Scunthorpe, but the striker opted for a move to Barnsley instead. But Parkinson is delighted to have finally captured the 25-year-old's signature, as the Bantams look to stave off the threat of relegation. "We're obviously thoroughly pleased to get Chris on board," Parkinson told the club website. "We've always felt that if the right player came along we'd try and make it happen. Chris certainly fits into that category because we know he will improve the squad." Dagnall will wear the number 17 shirt and is available for his Bradford debut at Aldershot.
