Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche has penned a two-year contract extension with the club.
The 29-year-old, who has started 177 games in all competitions for the Shrimps since moving from Chesterfield in 2008, has committed his future to Jim Bentley's League Two outfit until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Roche told Morecambe's official website: "My current contract runs out in the summer and when the gaffer offered me a new deal there was no hesitations. It was just a case of putting pen to paper and moving on.
"I could have waited to the summer and seen what was on offer, but there was no point at all.
"I was always going to sign a deal if offered because I love it at Morecambe.
"The club is a really friendly one and there is a fantastic team spirit. We have a great set of lads here and I am really enjoying my football."
