Nottingham Forest have confirmed they have accepted a bid from Championship rivals Leicester for defender Wes Morgan.

As revealed by Sky Sports earlier on Monday, Leicester have agreed a fee of £1million for Morgan

Forest have already turned down two offers from the Foxes for the 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the City Ground at the end of the season.

Morgan is Forest's longest-serving player in the squad, having made his debut for the club in 2003.

A Forest statement on their official website: "Nottingham Forest can confirm they have accepted a bid from Leicester City for central defender Wes Morgan, who is now set to discuss personal terms with the Foxes."
