Sky Sports understands Everton forward James McFadden is a target for Burnley.
McFadden, who rejoined Everton as a free agent in October, has been unable to hold down a regular place in David Moyes' side since returning to Goodison Park.
The Scotland international has made just one start in the FA Cup win against Tamworth and two brief substitute appearances in the Premier League.
McFadden is thought to be keen to go out on loan to get some regular first-team and a number of clubs have been alerted to his possible availability.
Burnley boss Eddie Howe is keen to bolster his attacking options and he is weighing up a move to bring McFadden to Turf Moor.
