Hamilton have confirmed Marco Paixao and Damian Casalinuovo are set to leave the club.

Paixao: Set for exit

The SPL basement boys have released striker Damian Casalinuovo from his contract to allow him to explore a move to Germany.

Portuguese star Paixao has been informed that he will not be given a contract for next season as the club prepare for life outside the SPL.

Accies are 12 points adrift at the foot of the SPL with six matches remaining and they appear to be reshuffling their squad for next season.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Striker Damian Casalinuovo has been released at his own request to enable to him to attempt to win a contract in Germany, while Portuguese striker Marco Paixao has been informed that he will not be given a contract for next season."
