Skysports.com understands Hamilton have signed Wigan midfielder Jon Routledge on a permanent basis.
Routledge spent the first half of the season on loan at Hamilton and impressed during his time at New Douglas Park.
Hamilton were keen to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal and, after lengthy talks, a deal has now been sorted out.
An agreement is believed to have been reached late on deadline day night and Routledge has sealed his move to Hamilton on a free transfer after a compensation compromise was reached between the two clubs.
Accies boss Billy Reid is a big admirer of Routledge, who has signed on a short-term deal until the end of the season, and he is the third midfielder to join the club during the transfer window following the arrivals of Aaron Wildig and James Chambers.
