The 27-year-old France-born hit-man is currently looking for a new club after being released from his Dundee contract by the club's administrators.

Antoine-Curier made a positive impression during his loan at Hamilton last season and Reid is mulling over the possibility of securing him on a full-time basis.

The striker is on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury and Reid believes that once he is back in full training he might be in a position to offer terms.

Admirer

"Mickael Antoine-Curier did brilliantly for me and I think everyone knows I'm a big admirer of Mickael," said Reid.

"I tried to sign him here and unfortunately we couldn't manage to do that. At the moment, I'm not in a position to sign him.

"I'd like to sign him and I will speak to him in the next couple of days. He's picked up a bad injury with a knee problem.

"Mickael is just going to have to take his time getting back. He's got to start training again."
