May lands Ipswich midfielder on loan

Falkirk have completed the signing of Ipswich midfielder Colin Healy on loan for the remainder of the season. As revealed by skysports.com on Monday, the SPL side had beaten off a host of interest from other clubs to secure his signature. Ipswich signed the ex-Cork City midfielder last summer, however, have allowed him to leave on loan after failing to hold down first-team football. Bairns boss Eddie May expects to have Healy in his squad on Wednesday and plans to throw him in at the deep end against Celtic this weekend.

Tracking

"Colin will be at the club on Wednesday morning," confirmed May. "We have been tracking him for a while as he has been in and out of the Ipswich team. "Colin will give us good experience, good quality and, most importantly, he is a winner. "He has come here to play and he'll be involved in the game at the weekend. He goes straight into my plans."
