England Under-21 star Saido Berahino insists he is not thinking about winning a call-up to the senior squad ahead of next summer's World Cup.
The West Bromwich Albion attacker is one of those being tipped to make the plane to Brazil, and he was reportedly being considered by Roy Hodgson for the forthcoming friendlies with Chile and Germany.
Berahino, though, was left with Gareth Southgate's Under-21 and he added to his burgeoning reputation with two goals in their 3-0 win over Finland.
"To be honest I just focus on every game as it comes," he told Sky Sports News.
"I just play and try and enjoy every game as it comes.
"But of course it gives hopes for all of us, not just me, but all of us in the team that it is not an impossible job so we just have to carry on and focus on our game and hopefully one of us will get the call."
Berahino has emerged as a regular in West Brom's first team this season and has scored six times for the Baggies.
