Two people have been seriously injured in an explosion at the ground which is due to host Spain's World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Friday.
The match is scheduled to take place at Real Mallorca's Iberostar Stadium but one of three generators at the ground exploded after a severe electrical fault.
Three men were working on the power unit in the stadium car park when the explosion occurred and the trio are all injured, two of them seriously.
It had been thought that the match might be in doubt but Jorge Perez, secretary general of the Spanish Football Federation, thinks repairs can be made in time.
"What worries us is the state of the two people seriously injured," Perez told Marca.
"We hear that the damage has been identified and will be able to be solved in time.
"Both teams will train there and this Friday the game can be played normally in Son Moix (the former name of the stadium)."
World Cup holders Spain go into the match on the Mediterranean island level with France at the top of Group I but having played one game less, while Belarus are bottom of the standings.
