Besiktas goalkeeper Allan McGregor has been included in Craig Levein's Scotland squad for their opening World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Macedonia.
The keeper suffered a groin injury in Scotland's friendly win over Australia last month and was rated doubtful for the Hampden games on September 8th and 11th.
But he is in Levein's squad along with Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks and Cardiff's David Marshall.
There is no place for the in-form Celtic winger Kris Commons, while Leeds striker Ross McCormack and Huddersfield forward Jordan Rhodes retain their places after scoring in the 3-1 win over Australia.
Missing
Captain Darren Fletcher is still missing as he battles to overcome a bowel condition.
Striker Kenny Miller returns after being rested for the Australia victory but there is no place for his Vancouver Whitecaps team-mate Barry Robson.
Barry Bannan drops out but his Aston Villa team-mate Alan Hutton remains in the squad despite not playing for his club this season.
Southampton left-back Danny Fox keeps his place amid the absence of the injured Phil Bardsley.
Rangers midfielder Ian Black and Blackburn striker David Goodwillie, who were both late call-ups for the Australia friendly, are left out. There are no Rangers players in the squad.
Celtic captain Scott Brown, who made his comeback from a hip problem in their UEFA Champions League win over Helsingborg on Wednesday night, is not included in the squad.
Scotland squad to face Serbia and Macedonia in World Cup qualifying matches at Hampden on September 8 and 11:
