Skysports.com understands a number of clubs at home and abroad are keeping tabs on Colorado Rapids management duo Gary Smith and Steve Guppy.
The English pair have worked wonders at Major League Soccer outfit Colorado Rapids and their growing reputation is not going unnoticed by clubs in England and America.
Smith joined Colorado Rapids in February 2008 as assistant coach before taking over in November of that year and one of his first tasks was to bring in former Leicester and Celtic winger Guppy as his assistant.
The duo guided the unfashionable Colorado to their first MLS title last season on a shoestring budget and they have again led the team to the play-offs this term.
The former Wycombe team-mates are both of out of contract at the end of the play-offs and the news has alerted a host of clubs to their possible availability.
Several English sides and a number of MLS rivals are all thought be monitoring Smith and Guppy's situation at Colorado and they are readying moves for the pair if they become available.
