Freddie Ljungberg's agent has claimed the Chicago Fire forward has 'several options in England'.
The Swede joined Chicago Fire from Seattle Sounders FC in the summer but is said to be keen to return to the Premier League.
Ljungberg won two Premier League titles with Arsenal while he also spent a season at West Ham.
The 33-year-old's agent Phil Smith said on Eurosport.se: "Nothing is decided yet. Fredrik is open to suggestions and has several options in England.
"There are offers from several different leagues, but nothing will be settled before January."
