Sheffield Wednesday's new loan signing Jack Hunt is excited to be part of the club's ambitious plans.

Hunt, 24, who will spend next season on loan at Hillsborough from Crystal Palace, is impressed by owner Dejphon Chansiri's vision.

Thai tuna magnate Chansiri said he hoped to lead the Owls back to the Premier League by 2017 - the club's 150th anniversary - after completing his takeover in January.

"I can't wait," defender Hunt told the club's official website. "It's a great time to be signing just as the lads have come back for pre-season training.

"We've been working hard over the last couple of days to get the deal done and I'm delighted we are there.

"I've played at Hillsborough before and I've always been impressed by the place, the atmosphere and size of the club.

"I know all about the takeover and the ambition the chairman has for the club and I'm really excited to be part of it."

The former Huddersfield right-back added: "This is a new era for Sheffield Wednesday with the new coach and the new chairman and I want to repay the club's faith in me."
