Jack Wilshere has been fined £40,000 and warned about his future conduct by the Football Association for his behaviour during Arsenal's FA Cup victory parade.

The England international sang anti-Tottenham chants and mocked Arsenal’s fierce rivals as he celebrated with team-mates on a stage outside the Emirates Stadium on May 31.

A statement on the FA’s website read: "Arsenal's Jack Wilshere has been fined £40,000 and severely warned as to his future conduct after admitting to a charge of misconduct.

"Wilshere was found guilty of making and/or inciting certain comments during the club's open bus trophy tour after their FA Cup Final victory, with his conduct deemed to be improper and bringing the game into disrepute."

Wilshere, 23, had issued an apology via his official Twitter account in the immediate aftermath of the incident and was spoken to internally by Arsenal.
