Swansea manager Garry Monk believes international duty can have a positive impact on players at club level.
Defenders Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor were part of Wales' impressive 3-0 victory over Israel in Haifa last week, and Monk believes strong performances in international football can carry over into domestic games.
He said: "It was a nice confident win and a tremendous performance. From those two as well - I thought they were really controlled and put in really good performances.
"They've been doing that for Swansea this season and they took it onto the international stage. Now it's about bringing that back. It was a nice confident win and hopefully that'll be in their game for Saturday.

"It's separate and a different environment. It's a whole different feeling those international games but you don't want them going away and being poor and then bringing back anything negative.
"Generally, all the players who have gone away to play international games have done very well. The biggest part is avoiding injuries, which can happen.
"The boys have done very well for their countries. They're obviously proud to represent their countries - it elevates your game and it elevates your status and you come back feeling a more important player."
Monk isn’t planning on a spending spree come the summer off-season, and insists he is more focused on holding onto his star players.
"I want to build on what we have, add quality and not take it away," Monk said.
"I want to finish the season as strong as possible and put that way of working into them because it's probably one of the biggest in the club's history if you look at the rewards for next season.
"The new TV rights and the money the club can gain is massive, that's why next season is so important and we don't lose any quality in the summer."
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has been among those who have impressed at the Liberty Stadium and has reportedly piqued the interest of Italian giants Roma.
One player Monk might have to do without for the rest of the season is on-loan midfielder Tom Carroll who suffered an ankle injury while playing with England U21s in the Czech Republic last Friday.
Monk hopes Carroll will recover in time to play in some of Swansea’s remaining fixtures but said any discussions of the 22-year-old making a permanent switch from Tottenham will be left until the end of the season.
Swansea welcome Hull to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday as Premier League action returns.
