Gboly Ariyibi has been handed a new two-and-a-half-year contract by Chesterfield.
The 20-year-old winger, who joined the club in the summer following his release from Leeds, has featured in the League One side's last four games. Paul Cook is pleased to have secured the USA Under-20 international's future. He said: "Gboly is a very, very exciting young prospect who has great ability and pace. "He is still developing as a player so there has to be some patience shown by fans as he learns the game."
