Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss two upcoming clashes with Monaco after being handed a two-match ban by the Ligue de Football Professionnel.
Ibrahimovic was booked for a challenge on Romain Hamouma late in PSG's 1-0 win away to St Etienne on January 25, but the LFP deemed the challenge worthy of further punishment.
The LFP announced the ban in a disciplinary report on its website on Thursday evening.
Ibrahimovic's ban, which also includes a further match suspended, rules him out of PSG's Ligue 1 trip to Monaco on March 1, and a home meeting with Les Rouges et Blancs on March 4 in the Coupe de France.
He is eligible to play against Toulouse this weekend in the league. Ibrahimovic did not attend a hearing into the matter on Thursday.
