Kenny Jackett has confirmed Wolves will buy in January to cover Nouha Dicko and Bakary Sako.

The head coach has admitted for the first time he will sign replacements with the pair set to be selected for Mali's African Cup of Nations squad.

The tournament in Equatorial Guinea runs between January 17 and February 8 and Jackett, who has signed Danny Graham on loan from Sunderland, will enter the market.

"We'd like as many options going in as possible but we do need to cover it with signings," he told the Wolverhampton Express & Star.

"I think we have to assume the worst case scenario. The good thing is the transfer window is open.

"We'll have to see where we're lacking and cover Bakary Sako and Nouha Dicko, who have been big players.

"Their good form has coincided a lot with our good form."
