Tisdale relishing Luton test

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is relishing the chance to take on League Two leaders Luton Town on Saturday.

The Grecians are one of the division's in-form sides having won six of their last eight league games and they host a Hatters outfit who have won their last seven and are unbeaten in nine. But Tisdale's men, who ran out comfortable 2-0 winners at Morecambe on Sunday, can take confidence from home wins over previous leaders Wycombe and Bury in recent weeks. "Teams are going top before they play us," he said. "Luton are going to be a different kettle of fish (to Morecambe), they are very dynamic and they know their strengths. It is going to be a difficult game. "We have got to keep everyone doing the basics, concentrating and playing our game. We have to make sure we bring our game to every matchday which we are doing at the moment." The City boss has suffered with an extensive list of injuries in recent weeks but with Liam Sercombe edging closer to full fitness means he now has some more options in midfield. He added: "Hopefully Liam Sercombe will be fit and that will be another player back into the fold and the two or three players who have been carrying injuries during the last few weeks are getting fitter by the game."
