Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado's agent admitted that "two top European clubs" made bids for his client in the summer.

The Colombian World Cup star was reportedly on Manchester United's radar in the summer, but no move ever materialised.

However, the 26-year-old's agent Alessandro Lucci has revealed that two unnamed clubs did come in for him, but the offer was not enough to tempt Fiorentina to part company.

"Last summer I had offers from two top European clubs for Cuadrado, but they were not sufficient to deal with Fiorentina," Lucci told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"They didn't want to sell Cuadrado less than an indecent offer."

Lucci also is adamant that there have been no issues with current negotiations with La Viola over a new contract for his client, and a deal can still be reached.

"I am convinced that we will find an agreement (for the contract's extension) which satisfies all the parties, because this is the will of those involved," Lucci added.

"Our considerations about the economic aspects are always the same from the first day.

"There are no problems between me and the player, there is complete harmony among us."
