Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes that team-mate Jordan Rhodes is good enough to play in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old striker has been the subject of interest from Hull City, who reportedly made two bids for him.
However, Tigers manager Steve Bruce admitted this week that Rovers have turned down their approach for the Scotland international.
Rhodes now looks set to remain with Rovers and play in the Championship, but former England international Robinson insists that he can be a success in the English top flight.
“You can always rely on him for a goal,” he told the Lancashire Telegraph. “He is a goal poacher and his record stands for itself.
“I think he could do it at Premier League level, whether that is here or with somebody else.”
