Vitesse Arnhem will challenge the established clubs of Dutch football courtesy of an attacking and entertaining football philosophy, according to manager Peter Bosz.
Vitesse, who are the Eredivisie’s first club to have foreign owners, will be looking to capitalise on their sixth-place finish last term and have been challenged by their manager to win every game they play.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Bosz outlined the club's ambitions for the forthcoming Eredivisie campaign.
"We would like to entertain the public. We try to score a lot of goals and most importantly to win every game," he said.
"We've got a big ambition. We want to win everything, if you want to win everything it's a big ambition. We want to do that with attractive football which I believe is possible."
Vitesse enjoy a close relationship with Premier League side Chelsea, with a number of young players moving on loan to Arnhem for regular first-team experience.
Chelsea youth players Bertrand Traore and Brazilian full-back Wallace have made the switch from Stamford Bridge for the forthcoming season and Bosz believes his club will provide them with the platform to flourish into established Premier League players.
"I am sure, I believe so," he added.
"It's always depending on the players themselves. We coaches can help them, the club can help them, but in the end it’s about the players themselves, when they’ve got the right mentality.
"They've got talent, otherwise they are not playing at Vitesse, but if they have the right mentality it's always possible to make the big step to the Premier League."
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Raymond van der Gouw is the current goalkeeping coach at Vitesse, having spent eight years at the club during his playing career.
Van der Gouw also believes the club's use of the loan system, as seen with the additions from Chelsea, will benefit both Vitesse and players in question.
"I think it's very important at the moment as we cannot afford to buy big players," he said.
"So it is very important to have very good players who have a lot of potential and they get the time to grow here."
