Patrice Evra cannot wait to get started at Juventus after arriving in Turin on Wednesday evening.

The 33-year-old left-back moved from Manchester United to the Bianconeri on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of £1.5millon.

He is looking forward to the challenge ahead as Juve try to win the Serie A title for a fourth successive year.

I'm not a person who sells dreams, but I like winning. I choose Juve to win.

Evra, who will be officially unveiled as new Juventus player on Thursday, told the club's official tv channel: "The sensation here at Juve is incredible.

"I start a new adventure. I come from a club like Manchester, where I won everything and now I'm here with the Bianconeri where I have done nothing yet.

"I am someone who likes to win, I chose a team like Juve to win and I will do my best to give all that I can for the club, for the fans, for the coach and for my team-mates."

France international Evra was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United in 2006 and went on to enjoy an illustrious eight-year career at Old Trafford, winning the Champions League in 2008, five Premier League titles, three League Cups and a Club World Cup.
