Hannover have announced the signing of Japan international midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake from relegated Nurnberg.

The 24-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Lower Saxony club, joining just a day after they captured Ceyhun Gulselam from Galatasaray.

"We're really pleased and happy that Hiroshi Kiyotake has chosen Hannover, despite having many different offers," said director of sport Dirk Dufner.

"Kiyotake has only just turned 24 so he has not yet reached his prime. At the same time, he has shone during his first two years in the Bundesliga and in the Japan national team."

Kiyotake has already made 64 appearances in Germany's top flight, scoring seven times.

He picked up his 26th cap for Japan during the World Cup, featuring in the group fixture against Colombia.
