Alejandro Pozuelo has joined La Liga side Rayo Vallecano from Swansea City for an undisclosed fee.
The Spanish forward only joined Swansea last July, signing from Real Betis of the Spanish Segunda Division on a three-year deal.
But the 22-year-old has found himself surplus to requirements at the Liberty Stadium after making 36 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
He has now made the move back to his home country and will link up with his new Rayo team-mates at their pre-season training camp in San Pedro del Pinatar.
