Sampdoria defender Shkodran Mustafi has revealed he has received offers from the Bundesliga, although he is not necessarily expecting to move this summer.

The 22-year-old Germany international, who was part of this summer's World Cup-winning squad, still has two years left to run on his contract with the Serie A club.

However, after representing his country in Brazil, he is now on the radar of several clubs back home.

"It would be nice to play in the Bundesliga, being a Germany international, and the offers are there," he told Sport Bild magazine.

"But the outlook must be right. The next decision (in my career) is going to be an important one.

"Moving to a big club would be the next step, but I don't have to move. I'm just keen to see what they offer me."

Mustafi was a surprise inclusion in Germany's World Cup squad, although he played three times in Brazil after being called up as a late replacement for the injured Marco Reus.

He has spent the last 18 months with Sampdoria, who he joined from Everton in 2012, and was a regular for them in Serie A last season.
