Fixtures: Motherwell to host St Mirren on opening day of the season

Motherwell will start their Scottish Premiership season with a home match against St Mirren.

Stuart McCall’s men host the Buddies on August 9th before an away clash against Dundee United on August 13th, while Inverness arrive at Fir Park on August 16th.

Champions Celtic welcome the Steelmen on September 20th and fans should be looking forward to a meeting with newly promoted rivals Hamilton on September 27th.

Motherwell host Celtic on December 6th during a busy festive schedule which continues with another home clash against Ross County on December 13th.

Partick Thistle arrive at Fir Park in the final match of 2014, while New Year’s Day brings a trip to Hamilton.

In the closing weeks of the regular campaign, Kilmarnock welcome the Steelmen on April 4th, then host St Mirren on April 8th, before the final match prior to the split is an away clash against Partick.
