Former Lyon coach Remi Garde and his assistant Gerald Baticle have been issued with touchline bans for their conduct during the season-ending win at Nice.
Bakary Kone's early goal settled the game in Lyon's favour but their management duo were called before the French Football League (LFP) disciplinary commission for "contesting the decisions of the referee by gestures and words", according to an LFP statement announcing the sanctions.
Garde left his role with Les Gones at the end of the season but will begin his next job with "a suspension from the touchline, the referee's dressing room and all official functions for two matches, one of them suspended".
Baticle is set to remain at the club but will be absent from the touchline for the first match of new coach Hubert Fournier's reign, at home to Rennes on August 9.
