Andrea Pirlo has insisted it is just a matter of time before he signs a new deal to keep him at Juventus.
The 34-year-old midfielder’s current contract expires in the summer and speculation earlier in the season suggested that he could be set to leave the club.
However, Pirlo has reassured supporters that he remains committed to Juve and revealed that it will not be long before he puts pen to paper.
“I still haven’t signed a contract but it’s no problem,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Reports in Italy claim he is poised to sign a two-year contract extension, with the option for a further 12 months, and the matter could be resolved by the end of March.
Piro has also dismissed rumours of a rift with head coach Antonio Conte, saying: “Why shouldn’t we get on well.
“It is mostly you, the media, who have spoken about bust-ups. The boss and I have always got on well.
“Of course sometimes we debate things. I have never seen a player happy to leave the pitch or sit on the bench with a smile on his face.
“Any disagreements we have though are things that are quickly forgotten about and they are extremely normal over the course of a season.
“Conte is one of the best coaches I have had.”
While his current focus is on trying to win Serie A and the Europa League with Juventus, Pirlo’s challenge this summer will be to help Italy perform well at the World Cup.
The Azzurri begin their campaign against England and also face Uruguay and Costa Rica in a difficult Group D, but Pirlo is in optimistic mood.
He said: “Our group at the World Cup is difficult, but we have the qualities to come through the round. Then, everything could become possible.”
