Latics sign Canadian midfielder

Oldham have signed Canada international midfielder Terry Dunfield on a deal until the end of the season.

The midfielder left FC Toronto in October but began his career at Latics' neighbours Manchester City, before further spells with Macclesfield, Shrewsbury and Bury. Dunfield, 32, arrives at Boundary Park, subject to international clearance, on the same day boss Lee Johnson revealed Anton Rodgers could miss two months with a knee injury. "With the immediate loss of Anton Rodgers to injury, I didn't feel we could take any chances," Johnson told the club's official website. "Terry has good pedigree and impressed us while on trial."
