Blackpool have given Tom Ince permission to discuss a loan move to a Premier League club, understood to be Swansea.
Ince, who turns 22 later this week, is out of contract at the end of the season, and there had been speculation he would see out his time at Bloomfield Road before moving on in the summer.
However, Sky sources understand Swansea will have to fight off another four Premier League clubs before securing his signature after Crystal Palace, Hull, Stoke and Sunderland declared their interest in the attacking midfielder.
In a statement, Blackpool said: "Following discussions with Thomas Ince and his representative, permission has been given for Thomas to discuss a loan move to a Premier League club.
"Thomas has expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League for the remainder of the season, a decision that the club fully understands and supports."
Ince has made 12 appearances for the England U21 side and is Blackpool's leading scorer with seven goals in the Championship this season.
