Thorgan Hazard has decided to stay on loan at Zulte Waregem from Chelsea despite interest from Belgian champions Anderlecht.
Hazard has been in sparkling form for Waregem since going on loan, scoring 14 goals in 49 appearances.
This has attracted the interest of Anderlecht, but after much deliberation Hazard has decided to stay with his current employers.
The younger brother of Chelsea star Eden seemingly wanted to move to Anderlecht but with the two sides locked in a fierce battle for his signature, Hazard decided to stay put with Waregem, where he has been since 2012.
"I've decided to stay at Zulte Waregem. I wanted to go to Anderlecht, but the clubs couldn't find an agreement," Hazard said.
"I wanted to end this soap. I skipped training yesterday because I was sick and tired of all the things surrounding my transfer."
He added: "I've talked it over with my family. They agree that it's the best decision to stay at Waregem."
Chelsea completed the signing of the 20-year-old from Lens in July 2012 and immediately put him on loan to Zulte to gain some experience.
