Sky Sports reviews the latest week of sporting highlights

There have been more big-scoring victories and morale-sapping defeats over the last week, illustrating once again just how much sport can hurt, let's look at our weekly pick of the bunch.

Bad Week

Jason Puncheon
You know when you're trending on Twitter that you've done something memorable, sadly for Jason Puncheon he was also trending alongside 'worst penalty ever' after his miss from the spot at Spurs. Struggling Crystal Palace had a golden chance to take the lead at Tottenham after just eight minutes when they were awarded a penalty, but Puncheon fluffed his lines from 12 yards as he skied his effort miles high into the stand - and Spurs went on to win 2-0 to add to his troubles.
England
A new format but the same old story for Alastair Cook and England's cricketers, as their miserable tour of Australia continued with a six-wicket defeat in the opening one-day international in Melbourne. A new-look side had the same old problems, with their batting not up to scratch and then bowling too generous meaning Australia made light work of their 270 victory target as Aussie openers Aaron Finch and David Warner put on 163 to set up the easy win.
Leeds
Being embarrassed 6-0 is never a nice feeling, but when it comes in a big Yorkshire derby in front of the live Sky Sports cameras it just makes things ten times worse for Leeds fans who were embarrassed at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. Having Matt Smith sent off just after half time didn't help, but they were always second best and it also made if four defeats in a row including an FA Cup shock at Rochdale to add to the misery for Brian McDermott's side.
Robson & Watson
British tennis fans woke up after the first day of the Australian Open and already had just Andy Murray to cheer on after British duo Laura Robson and Heather Watson suffered first round exits in the early stages of the event. British No. 1 Robson last just 50 minutes in Melbourne as she was beaten by Belgian 18th seed Kirsten Flipkens, while Watson put up a brave showing but was eventually beaten 7-5 3-6 6-3 by Daniela Hantuchova with Murray being the only Brit left just three hours into the Australian Open.
