Portsmouth goalkeeper John Sullivan has joined Conference side Cambridge on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old moved to Fratton Park from Charlton last summer and began the season as Pompey's first-choice keeper. But he made just seven appearances and lost his place after a poor display in the 4-2 defeat at York in September. Sullivan was on the bench for Portsmouth's last outing, the 2-1 defeat by Southend on New Year's Day, behind current number one Trevor Carson. He could make his debut for promotion-chasing Cambridge at Braintree on Tuesday night.
