Champ Team of Week

Image: David N'Gog: Came off the bench to turn things around for Bolton

See who made Sky Sports' Team of the Week after another busy weekend of Championship action.

Team of the week

Matthew Gilks - Blackpool
The Seasiders claimed a welcome 2-0 win at home to struggling Blackburn and goalkeeper Gilks cut a solid figure between the sticks. The shot-stopper did well to hold firm after the Rovers frontline started brightly, denying Simon Vukcevic and Jordan Rhodes with crucial saves before the break to pave the way for his fourth Championship clean sheet of the season.
Sam Byram - Leeds
Leeds made it four wins in five games as they saw off Ipswich 2-0 and young defender Byram continued to shine at the back. The teenager played a key role in helping Leeds to a clean sheet, while also building on his promising partnership with Paul Green down the right and coming close to setting up a goal with a superb cross Luciano Becchio could not convert from six yards.
Michael Bostwick - Peterborough
The Posh enjoyed a hard-fought 2-1 win at Cardiff and centre-back Bostwick put them on course for the success in style when he scored a long-range stunner in the 22nd minute. The defender picked up George Boyd's ball and rifled home from 20 yards to put the visitors in the driving seat, then helped hold things steady at the back as they played out the win.
Miguel Llera - Sheffield Wednesday
Owls manager Dave Jones was full of praise for his defence after Wednesday claimed a 1-0 win at Barnsley in Saturday's South Yorkshire derby and Llera was a key performer alongside centre-half partner Anthony Gardner. His shining moment came in the second half when he cleared off the line to help preserve Wednesday's clean sheet.
Shane Lowry - Millwall
Lowry was a stand-out player for the Lions as they kept Leicester at bay in a 1-0 win. Millwall claimed their seventh clean sheet of the season and the defender helped keep things tight at the back while also showing his prowess getting forward, troubling Kasper Schmeichel in the Foxes goal.
James Henry - Millwall
Another Millwall man causing problems for Leicester was Henry on the right wing, with much of the Lions' creative spark coming from the 23-year-old. Henry has been attracting reported interest from the Premier League and his efforts on Saturday will not have hurt his top-flight chances after putting in a lively display.
Papa Bouba Diop - Birmingham
Crystal Palace threw away a two-goal lead at Birmingham and it was Diop that snatched the Blues a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw, grabbing an 82nd-minute goal. The midfielder had enjoyed an impressive afternoon and his equaliser put the gloss on his display as he headed home Robert Hall's cross.
Stephen Quinn - Hull
Another Yorkshire derby saw Hull claim a 2-0 home win over Huddersfield and Quinn was his usual influential self in midfield. Quinn pulled off a wonderful turn to lose Peter Clarke before firing in the cross which allowed Robert Koren to slide in the opening goal from close range in just the eighth minute.
Jerome Thomas - Leeds
Thomas was another star man in Leeds' victory over Ipswich as the forward scored one and set one up on what was his return from injury. He fired the Whites ahead in the 19th minute when he diverted Tom Lees' header past Stephen Henderson in the Tractor Boys goal, then lifted in the cross for Paul Green's second.
David N'Gog - Bolton
N'Gog was the epitome of a super sub as he came off the bench in the 63rd minute and went on to fire Bolton to a 2-0 victory over Charlton with a superb brace. The Frenchman buried a low shot past goalkeeper Ben Hamer before lashing home from inside the box just six minutes later to complete a dramatic finale.
Glenn Murray - Crystal Palace
Palace wasted a two-goal lead as they drew at Birmingham but it was goal-machine Murray who had put them on the front foot with a brace, scoring either side of the break with his 19th and 20th goals of the season. Murray, the current Championship top scorer, slid home Yannick Bolasie's cross at the near post before adding another from close range.
