After shooting to fame for writing 'Let Me Sign' from blockbuster film 'Twilight', Bobby Long is set to return with new EP 'The Backing Singer'. Sky Sports took the opportunity to talk Eric Cantona, Patrick Vieira and Euro '96. First Team
Manchester United
I'm from Wigan and so are my family. When my dad was a kid, the Latics were basically non-league. So he went to watch the greats at United like Bobby Charlton and George Best. He became a United fan and so I just always was as well. When I was growing up, it was that great team in the mid-1990s who dominated everything and I had the grey away kit. First Match
Wigan v Leyton Orient
I wanted to watch a live game, so, when I was seven, my dad took me to the old Springfield Park ground. It was Wigan versus Leyton Orient and Wayne Biggins scored a great goal. It was set up by one of the three amigos, which included now-manager Roberto Martinez. First Hero
Eric Cantona
My friends and I popped our collars and had our shirts hanging out. I even once tried to draw his Native American tattoo on my chest. The day he was banned for the Kung-Fu kick, my friend slated him in front of me and I went after him. I was only nine or 10 and spent the day facing the wall at play time. First Villain
Patrick Vieira
I really didn't like Vieira, because of his battles with Roy Keane. I got frustrated with the whole Arsenal team during their successful couple of years and especially when Martin Keown and players surrounded Ruud van Nistelrooy. Vieira is obviously a great player, but recently again he has been outspoken. First Junior Club
Chippenham FC
We had a good team and I played sweeper and captained the side as well. Our school team, John Bentley, was pretty amazing, though. We were a small school from a small town that won our County Cup pretty much every year. I'm still friends with a lot of the lads. First Heartache
Euro '96
It was heart-breaking and a huge anti-climax. We had a great team, a manager who knew what he was doing and a great song to sing along to. I watched the Holland game with my family and we were sure we were going to win everything. Gareth Southgate's penalty was tough to take. First Album
Parklife, Blur
It was that or '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' by Oasis. Most of the kids in my school were either Blur or Oasis, but I was both and got stick for it. I also remember being at Woolworths and buying on tape that song Run DMC v Jason Nevins, which was playing everywhere. For more information, visit www.bobbylong.info
