Bartosz Bialkowski - Notts County
Bialkowski pulled off three wonder saves as Notts County saw off Carlisle 1-0 thanks to Alan Judge's winner. The Polish goalkeeper was a solid presence throughout but the bulk of his heroics came in the second half as the visitors turned up the heat. The shot-stopper first brilliantly clawed away Lee Miller's header before denying Sean O'Hanlon and James Berrett with equally impressive blocks.
Paul Quinn - Doncaster
Quinn has been in strong form for the league leaders of late and Saturday's game against Hartlepool was no exception as Rovers romped to a 3-0 home win. The Scot put in another marauding display on the right of Doncaster's defence, holding things steady to help them to a 13th clean sheet of the season while also showing his prowess going forward.
Harry Maguire - Sheffield United
Young defender Maguire put in another solid showing at the heart of Sheffield United's defence as they kept Oldham at bay for a 2-0 win to boost their promotion hopes. Maguire also came close to opening the scoring with a first-half header as he helped the title-hunting Blades to their fifth successive clean sheet.
Darren Ward - Swindon
Swindon continued to prove there is life after Paolo Di Canio as they claimed a 2-1 win at Coventry and Ward had an integral role to play following his stint as joint player-manager with Tommy Miller ahead of Kevin MacDonald's appointment. The Robins left it late to snatch the three points in MacDonald's first game in charge and it was Ward who grabbed the stoppage-time winner.
Liam Moore - Brentford
Brentford kept themselves firmly in the promotion picture with a 1-0 win over Scunthorpe and on-loan defender Liam Moore was crucial to their victory. The 20-year-old put in a man-of-the-match display as he contributed to a watertight performance at the back from the Bees.
James Husband - Doncaster
Another star performer in Doncaster's win was in-form Husband, who tormented the Hartlepool defence throughout. He saw his efforts rewarded by playing a role in two of Rovers' goals, with James Coppinger hitting home after his shot was half-blocked and Billy Paynter converting his inch-perfect cross.
Johannes Ertl - Portsmouth
Struggling Pompey claimed a much-needed 2-1 success at Crewe to end their 23-game winless run and captain Ertl led by example throughout. The Austrian bossed proceedings in midfield with an industrious performance that set the tone for the win and also played a part in David Connolly's goal with a driving run.
Edward Upson - Yeovil
Upson scored the 58th-minute winner as Yeovil continued their push for promotion with a 1-0 victory over Tranmere. It was a superb 25-yard free-kick that sealed the points for the home side as he curled his effort past Owain Fon Williams at the near post, while he almost doubled the advantage with a late lob which pinged the crossbar.
Will Grigg - Walsall
In-form Grigg continues to impress for the Saddlers after scoring five in his last two games, including a derby double to help see off Shrewsbury 3-1. The striker's first came from the spot in the 30th minute before he sidestepped Rob Edwards to fire home from 10 yards in the second half, taking his tally for the season to 16.
Charlie MacDonald - Leyton Orient
Orient shocked Bournemouth with a 3-1 home win as the Cherries' losing streak continues and MacDonald was on hand with an important brace to inspire the success, adding a goal either side of the break. His first came when he tucked home a Dave Mooney ball then he doubled the advantage with a sliding finish under keeper Shwan Jalal.
Jamie Proctor - Crawley
Proctor fired Crawley to a 2-0 triumph at Bury with a goal in each half, marking his first strikes for the club after joining from Swansea in January. The striker hit a left-footed volley from 15 yards before getting his head to Nicky Adams' cross after the break.
