A Brazil side without its stars managed to secure a 2-0 win in a friendly against Gabon on Thursday night.
Tottenham midfielder Sandro claimed an 11th-minute opener and the visitors were comfortable after star man Hernanes doubled their lead in the 34th minute.
Gabon were celebrating the opening of the new D'Angondje stadium in their capital, Libreville, but the party did not get off to a smooth start as the kick-off was delayed by 18 minutes due to a power failure.
The pitch was also in bad condition but that did not stop the South Americans dominating possession from the outset.
And after only two minutes Jonas had a chance to open the scoring, only to shoot wide.
Adriano then laid on a chance for Hulk in the fifth minute and although he was denied by goalkeeper Didier Ovono, Gabon's resistance was broken six minutes later.
The hosts cleared a corner out to Bruno Cesar, who crossed back into the box and Ovono was unable to gather, allowing Sandro to hook the ball into the net.
Brazil remained on top as Hulk, Jonas and Hernanes all went close before Gabon had their first chance in the 32nd minute, with Levy Madinda's free-kick coming back off the crossbar.
Hernanes goal
But moments later Hernanes put Brazil 2-0 up, heading home after Ovono had parried a long-range effort by Jonas.
Brazil goalkeeper Diego Alves was tested by Pierre Aubameyang before the break, and the game continued in much the same way after the interval.
Bruno Cesar tried his luck from distance and although Hulk then appeared to be pushed in the box, the referee did not award a penalty.
Ovono then turned a Bruno Cesar shot wide while Aubameyang and substitute Daniel Cousin threatened to pull one back for Gabon.
