Kaka believes his partnership with striker Luis Fabiano has proved to be a real success for Brazil at the World Cup finals in South Africa. The pair have been a key influence for the five-time champions, resurrecting their partnership forged at Brazilian club side Sao Paulo at the beginning of the decade. Luis Fabiano has scored three goals in four matches with his former team-mate supplying the Sevilla hitman with two of his goals as Brazil now prepare to face Holland in the quarter-finals on Friday. "We have a perfect connection,'' Fabiano said. "We understand each other. I just have to get in position and I know he will get the ball to me.'' The Real Madrid playmaker set up Fabiano in Brazil's 3-1 win against the Ivory Coast in the group stage and he then supplied the 29-year-old in the 3-0 second round win against Chile. "We have a very good connection, especially because of the time we played together for Sao Paulo. One look is enough to know what we are going to do," Kaka said.

Assists

"I hope to give him many more assists in the rest of the World Cup and that he ends up as the top scorer.'' Fabiano, who was the leading scorer in last year's Confederations Cup with five goals, is currently trailing Argentina's Gonzalo Higuain, Spain's David Villa and Slovakia's Robert Vittek, who each have four. "I'm trying to help Brazil win the title, that's what I want,'' said Luis Fabiano. "If in the end I'm also the top scorer, better.'' Kaka has yet to score a goal at the tournament, but insists he is perfectly happy sticking with the playmaking role in Dunga's side. "That's fine,'' Kaka said. "Of course everyone wants to score goals in a World Cup, but honestly, it's not something I worry too much about. I'm happy to keep helping my team-mates score so Brazil can keep winning.''
