New Argentina coach Alfio Basile has added Barcelona striker Javier Saviola to his squad to face Brazil this weekend.

Saviola earned the reward for his fine pre-season form for Los Cules as former Boca Juniors boss Basile opted to extend his attacking options for his first match in charge of the national team.

The only other change from Basile's original 20-man party sees Real Zaragoza's Leonardo Ponzio drafted in for the injured Hugo Ibarra.

The prestigious friendly will be staged at Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium home on Sunday.

The revised squad:
Roberto Abbondanzieri (Getafe), Leonardo Franco (Atletico Madrid); Fabricio Coloccini (Deportivo La Coruna), Leonardo Ponzio (Real Zaragoza), Fabricio Fuentes (Atlas), Gabriel Milito (Real Zaragoza), Clemente Rodriguez (Spartak Moscow), Walter Samuel (Inter), Pablo Zabaleta (Espanyol); Daniel Bilos (St Etienne), Luis Gonzalez (Porto), Federico Insua (Borussia Monchengladbach), Javier Mascherano (Corinthians), Juan Roman Riquelme (Villarreal), Maxi Rodriguez (Atletico Madrid), Leandro Somoza (Villarreal); Sergio Aguero (Atletico Madrid), Cesar Delgado (Cruz Azul), Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Carlos Tevez (Corinthians), Javier Saviola (Barcelona)
