Argentina coach Jose Pekerman has made one change to his team for the Serbia & Montenegro match on Friday.
Porto's talented 25-year-old Luis 'Lucho' Gonzalez comes into midfield in place of Internazionale workhorse Esteban Cambiasso.
Cambiasso played well in the South Americans' tough 2-1 win over Ivory Coast on Saturday, but playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme was restricted to more of a holding role in the game.
It seems that Pekerman is taking the chance to attack against the more defensive-minded Serbs.
"The idea is to have the circulation that will allow us to continue getting up front," the boss confirmed.
"It's not exclusively for Roman. It's important we have equilibrium in all sectors. It's not about giving Roman more liberty.
"Argentina are ready to play a great match whatever way Serbia play."
Argentina line up in a 4-3-1-2 formation: Roberto Abbondanzieri; Nicolas Burdisso, Robert Ayala, Gabriel Heinze, Juan Pablo Sorin; Luis Gonzalez, Javier Mascherano, Maxi Rodriguez; Juan Roman Riquelme; Javier Saviola, Hernan Crespo.
